It's a dead giveaway to me slightly gooey center when I say the park has a little sentimental to me, and the fact that Mr. Beckett will grow up. When I was growing up, my mom would take me and my brother and when I got old enough, she dropped me and my childhood best friend off at the pool with bagged lunch, a tube of sunscreen, and a a few dollars for the ice cream man and we she'd pick us up exhausted and ready for a long night's sleep.
Someday we'll do the same thing with Beckett, but right now, he's a little too tiny to do anything besides look at the trees and let us coo at him. So we'll picnic and watch the reserved kids touching their toes in the water and the daring ones flip off the diving board, reminiscing about the days when we were so audacious and our bodies were pliable enough to be thrown here and there.
Since we've got a little one now, I want to find a way to preserve memories. But I'm not one for scrapbooking, it doesn't fit my (striving towards a ) minimalist lifestyle and also, I'm not good at it. So I'm trying my hand at video scrapbooking! It's my first one, and I'm excited to get better.
